- This Muscat is the result of a careful selection of grapes, harvested at optimal maturity, where the acid/soft balance is searched for, which gives the Muscat of Setúbal distinct characteristics. After a short fermentation, interrupted by the addition of selected and certified wine distillate, it remains in contact with the skins until March of the year following the harvest.
- It is then pressed and aged for 18 months until it is bottled.
Adega Camolas is a family business, located near the Arrábida Natural Park, whose winemaking activity began in the 1970s.
The Camolas estate exploits a small area of about 30 ha on a limestone soil on several plots spread out in the noble areas of the vineyards in the municipality of Palmela. The estate also buys grapes from the small wine growers of the region.
On the nose we find aromas of candied stone fruit, apricot and honey. On the palate the wine is sweet, with aromas of candied fruit, nuts and honey. The finish is long and balanced with a nice integration of sugar.
