Waar serveer je ’m bij?
Vitor Claro was a cook before he became a winemaker, and in white he is after the same thing as in red: to intervene as little as possible. An old field blend vineyard in Portalegre, fermented in steel and aged in used wooden barrels, in a very small run. Weight seven with complexity ten and a low acidity: that is an unusual ratio — a light wine with many layers, which has to get by on aroma and texture and not on tension.
