Borges Verdelho 15 years

Region: Madeira

Producer: BORGES

Why we chose this wine
Verdelho is the second-driest of the classic Madeira grapes. This 15 years shows extra complexity and depth from the longer ageing.
Golden in colour, with notes of citrus, dried apricot and a smoky undertone. Medium-dry and lively, with a long, mineral finish. https://www.theportugalcollection.be/web/image/product.template/11159/image_1920?unique=cd5128d

What the critics say
Robert Parker Wine Advocate
90/ 100
Published 27-11-2019
“The latest release of the NV Verdelho 15 Year Old is showing well, opening in the glass with scents of white cherries, beeswax, mocha, candied ginger and sultanas. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, racy and nicely defined, with a saline finish and enough flesh to cover its structural bones.”
