A smooth variation on the classic Saes Reserva. The vines of this vineyard are 'only' 20 years old which makes the wine younger accessible than Saes Reserva.

Waar serveer je ’m bij?
The accessible brother of the Saes Reserva, from a vineyard with vines around twenty years old — young, in Dão terms, and you notice it in how early this wine is already drinking well. Encruzado, Bical and Cercial, partly in steel and partly in used oak barrels. Used oak matters here: it gives texture without an oaky flavour, so the wine feels rounder in the mouth without vanilla or coconut landing on your plate. That combination — round enough for a sauce, fresh enough not to sag along with it — is rare in this price bracket.
