This Alvarinho by Gonçalo is part of a duo of wines in which Anselmo Mendes’s sons each put their own stamp on their father’s wine region. While Tiago chose the Loureiro grape, Gonçalo worked with Alvarinho grapes from Quinta da Torre—Anselmo Mendes’s estate in Monção.The result is a captivating, layered wine with great tension and excellent aging potential.
Production was limited to 1,300 bottles, of which we managed to secure 120 for the Belgian market.
