Waar serveer je ’m bij?
The counterpart of his brother's Alvarinho: Tiago took Loureiro, the grape of the floral nose, and did with it exactly what nobody does with Loureiro — fermented it in 400-litre wooden barrels and then left it in them for six months. That combination is the whole reason this bottle exists: the bay-like, floral scent of the grape stays, but a creamy, almost nutty texture comes to sit beneath it. Six years in bottle has let all of that slide completely into place.
