Maderista XX is a new blend in the Maderista range, a project between The Madeira Collection and Francisco Albuquerque, winemaker at Blandy's.As always, Tinta Negra Mole provides the wine's structure with a medium dry mouthfeel.
We added Verdelho for freshness and elegance. Malvasia gives extra body and roundness.
The blend has an average age of 10 y old.
X is the mother with only TNM.
Xx the female variant with Malvasia, Verdelho and TNM
XY the male version with a drier touch of Sercial from the TNM.
The carefully chosen additions to the TNM give XX and XY more body and depth.
