Surrounded by several mountain ranges, including the Serra da Estrela, the highest in the country, the region consists mainly of granite soils. The vines are located in the valley between 400 and 700 metres above sea level separated by two rivers: the Dão and the Mondego. This climate brings forth good acidity.Fruity and elegant wine with balanced acidity.
