Why we chose this wine
Mario Sergio maakt al decennialang compromisloos wijnen in de Bairrada. Elke botteling barst daardoor van het karakter. De wijnen hebben bovendien een schier eindeloos bewaarpotentieel.
Dit is een witte wijn met de nodige volheid en toch een opvallend mineraal karakter.
Voor de prijs is het een heel goede wijn en het bewaarpotentieel is beduidend langer dan bij vergelijkbare wijnen.

The producer
Quinta das Bageiras
Frederico and his father Mario Sergio are the third and fourth generations of the Nuno family who make wine in the north of the Bairrada region. They make wines and espumantes that are very easily recognizable for their distinct character.
