Why we chose this wine
1895: the year the Lumière brothers held the first public film screening. A Madeira from this vintage is a living piece of history — a wine that has been ageing for generations, owing its character to decades of patient cask maturation.
Malvasia
The sweetest of all and mainly found in Santana and Sao jorge in the north with 36 hectares planted. It is definitely the most luscious grape with a nice balance between sweet and acid.
