We came across Filippo Pozzi before he had even bottled his first wine and then waited patiently for more than 2 years. At last we have the first bottles of his delicious Atlas wines, from old vineyards in the coastal area of the Alentejo and Algarve.
Atlas land (Filippo Pozzi) is available in Belgium from The Portugal Collection. We import the wines directly and deliver throughout Belgium.
The Alentejo coast is one of the last hidden gems in Europe. The nature is beautiful and the coastline still largely unspoilt.
That strongly appealed to surfer Filippo Pozzi, who soon after arriving decided to swap Italy for Portugal for good.
Around Aljezur, Filippo found small old vineyards scattered here and there and managed to acquire a few old plots.
He vinifies the grapes in the purest and simplest way, in old wooden casks and without any intervention.
