BdP 2022, Atlas Land
Region: Algarve
Producer: atlasland (Filippo Pozzi)
BdP (Branco da Praia) and Até amanhā are the first two releases from the 2022harvest. A couple of fresh, dynamic labels from adjacent vineyards on the hills behind the coast.
The first one (B d P) is zesty and high-acid, with lemonade-like characteristics, field blend of
Boal Branco and Crato. As the name suggests, it’s an unpretentious wine to drink cold under
the sun, paired with grilled sardines or your favorite marisco

Waar serveer je ’m bij?
BdP stands for Branco da Praia, the white of the beach, and comes from a thirty-five-year-old vineyard near Aljezur — straight into the Atlantic wind. Boal Branco and Crato in wooden barrels, and ten and a half degrees of alcohol: that is exceptionally low for a wine that has spent time in oak, and it is exactly what makes it special. You get the texture of a barrel wine in a bottle nobody finds heavy.
