| Vinification | The grapes came from a 55-year-old vineyard with limestone and sandy soils. They were harvested in late September 2020. The whole bunches macerated for 9 days. |
| Ripening | After pressing, the wine then spent 22 months in 225-litre barrels. Bottled in August 2022 with no use of pumps and no addition of sulfite. |
Waar serveer je ’m bij?
Fifty-five-year-old Castelão on limestone and sand, picked at the end of September, nine days of whole-bunch maceration and then twenty-two months in barrel. Nine days is short for whole bunches: the result is aroma and tension without the stems turning hard. Ten and a half degrees, six years in bottle, and a mouth that lives on acidity rather than tannin.

Under the name Marinho, he makes wines that we can only describe as ‘unique’. So unique, in fact, that Luis adds a whole new dimension to the world of wine.
