Literally, Abanico means ‘fan’ and does not refer to one of those summery paper fans to dissipate some heat, but to the chic fans made of expensive fabric from the Victorian period that were status symbols rather than cooling.Casa da Passarella took inspiration from the story of a Spanish noble lady who lived at the Casa long ago and also always flaunted a hand fan. With this, they emphasise the elegance of this wine.
This wine colours deep red, and has aromas of red fruits such as berries with a spicy touch.
It is a full-bodied wine, rich in tannins and has a long finish.
