Waar serveer je ’m bij?
Fogueira is the hamlet where Mario Sergio took over his grandfather's parcels in 1989. One hundred per cent Baga, fermented in an open lagar and aged in used casks — the method the estate has never let go of. Twenty-two years in bottle have rounded Baga's tannin completely, while the acidity that lets the grape live so long is still there. Complexity fourteen: the deepest bottle of our Bairrada.
Venison fillet with wild mushrooms and chestnut
Beef cheek with bay and carrot
Serveren op 16–17 °C, stand the bottle upright and pour without decanting
