Why we chose this wine
Emanuel Frutuoso divides his time between surfing and making wine. His wines are, just like himself, completely permeated by the Atlantic Ocean. Emanuel vinifies very pure and thus tries to maximize the salty and cooling influence of the ocean in his wines.

Emanuel Frutuoso divides his time between surfing and winemaking, and his bottles are as Atlantic as he is. The grapes are pressed on arrival: the primary aromas stay intact and colour extraction stays limited. Fermentation takes place in French casks, followed by a year in barrel. Tinta Roriz with ten per cent white grapes, twelve degrees of alcohol.
