The vineyards, for a total of fifteen hectares (composed of 5ha of old vines located in Gouveia and 10ha of vines over 20 years old in Seia) are located in one of the coldest places in Dão, the foothills of Serra da Estrela, 550 meters of altitude, planted in granitic soil with the traditional grape varieties of the region.Lote 3 comes from three vineyards located in Gouveia and Seia. It was vinified in stainless steel vats, with gentle extractions. It aged for 12 months in used oak barrels of 225 liters.
This is a classic Dão, with a modern approach. Light in colour, fresh and easy to drink, and thanks to innovations in current viticulture and oenology, it also contains good balance, aromatic beauty and fruit intensity on the palate.
