Indie Xisto 2020, Luis Seabra

Luis Seabra went to work with 2 old vineyards in the Cima Corgo, the heart of the Douro, and bottled his best grapes under the name 'CRU', a nod to French tradition but also and above all a reference to his method: Luis makes wine in its purest form with minimal intervention. Choosing vineyards and caring for the vines is the foundation. Then he lets nature do its work. He only adds a small amount of sulphite to, as he says, 'make the wines retain their precision' but there too he aims for the bare minimum.
